How come the new england patriots don't have a large fanbase?

They have 3 superbowl rings and soon to get more in a couple of years, I know not this year after falling to the jets badly. I know some of you might say that they cheated to get their superbowl rings but thats not true, thats an umption because they cheated in one regular season game everyone thinks they cheated all along. Not true. I believe it's the steelers who cheat, steroids in the 70s, cheating against the seahawks, the game against the cardinals is the only one they deserve and yet I see millions of steeler fans and no patriots fans. that stinks
