How does having a propane tank at a home differ from using natural gas?

I have LP in my home and if I had choice I would surely have natural. LP is more expensive by far since it is a petroleum product.ie. when gas goes up, so does LP. You have to depend on a company bring it to you. It is just as safe to use, but a lott more hle. Hope this helps.
